Arrive & Xochimilco
Welcome to Mexico City! After check-in, get your first taste of Mexico with a quick stop at a local supermarket for spicy candy and other local favorites. Then it's off to Xochimilco for colorful boats, mariachis, and a floating fiesta through the ancient canals. Dinner at one of the city's 60+ kosher restaurants.
The Pyramids of Teotihuacán
Delicious breakfast at the hotel, then explore the spectacular ancient city of Teotihuacán with an English-speaking guide. Walk the Avenue of the Dead, stand before its towering pyramids, and discover one of the most impressive archaeological sites in the world. Back by mid-afternoon. Dinner at your restaurant of choice. Chapultepec & Lucha Libre
Grab your packed lunch and spend the morning exploring Chapultepec Castle, the only royal castle in the Americas. In the afternoon, choose between Chapultepec Park with the kids or the world-famous National Museum of Anthropology. Optional: After dinner, experience the energy of Lucha Libre at Arena México.
Coyoacán
A slower paced day exploring charming Coyoacán. Visit Frida Kahlo's Blue House, the Trotsky House, the colorful Coyoacán Market, and the beautiful plazas that connect them.
Taxco & the Cacahuamilpa Caves
Three hours south, Taxco is a white silver town stacked up a mountainside — cobblestone streets, VW Beetle taxis, and silver workshops around every corner. Beside it are the Cacahuamilpa Caves, one of the largest cave systems in the world. Walk through cathedral-sized chambers before heading back to the city for dinner.
A day for every age
A day for every age. Teenagers head to Six Flags, younger kids take over KidZania—a kid-sized city where they become firefighters, pilots, doctors, and more. Traveling without young children? Explore the Soumaya Museum or discover Mexico City's historic center, including the Zócalo and the ruins of Templo Mayor, and a few stops very special stops.
Jewish Mexico City
Discover Jewish Mexico City with a guided bus tour of Polanco's synagogues, the Jewish Community Center, and the neighborhoods that make up one of Latin America's largest Jewish communities. Back to the hotel by early afternoon to prepare for Shabbat. Friday night dinner at the hotel.
Viva Shabbat!
Walk to the synagogue of your choice—Maguén David, Bet El, or Chabad. Lunch at the hotel. After Shabbat, head out to one of Mexico City's famous kosher steakhouses for dinner.
An emotional goodbye
A final visit to the heart of historic Mexico City, including the Zócalo, and ending on an emotional note at the historic Justo Sierra Synagogue (Nidjei Israel), before heading to the airport.
